Best Practices in Primary Care
Focused & Targeted.

Since 2003, we’ve conducted more than 100 Best Practices educational events across the nation. Each program is focused and targeted to provide clinicians with the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment.

Our uniquely designed programs consistently receive exceptional evaluations from attendees. This popular format has the power to turn the latest emerging science into better patient care. In today’s hectic environment, you have more and more demands on your time. It can be difficult to keep up with emerging science. By providing the latest research in a case-based, patient-centered format, our goal is to provide new clinical tools and knowledge you can use immediately in your daily practice to improve patients’ outcomes.

Offering clinicians continuing medical education in a variety of therapeutic areas, our one or two-day Best Practices curricula brings you leading-edge education presented by expert faculty. You’ll have a unique opportunity to interact with fellow attendees and engage in an exceptional learning experience through multiple symposia including dialogue with key thought leaders.

Antiplatelet Strategies to Protect ACS Patients and Minimize Risk

Because detrimental platelet activation is a hallmark feature of thromboemblic events, antiplatelet therapies have become a key therapeutic option for prevention of thromboembolism and its consequences. However, there remains considerable uncertainty regarding how to optimize antithrombotic effects while minimizing bleeding risk. There are also questions about which antiplatelet therapy is most appropriate for patients with various presentations of atherothrombotic disease. Physicians who treat patients with thromboembolic conditions need to keep abreast of the latest antithrombotic/antiplatelet clinical trial results to ensure optimal outcomes for their patients. This highly interactive live meeting will provide a unique learning experience by offering a combination of interactive and case-based presentations, along with application of guideline-based management strategies. Participants will become more competent with the latest information on recent clinical trial results to provide optimum management of patients.
